A Toronto luxury wedding and events practice, moved off a generic template onto a restrained editorial site. Warm paper, near-black type, and whitespace doing the work.

The brief was to build a site that reads at the level of the events this practice actually runs. The old site was a stock template. The new one is an editorial build: a warm paper surface, two typefaces and never bold, and a single shared left edge holding every line of text on the page. Most of the work was subtraction. A scroll-scrubbed video hero, fade-in effects, an oversized hero, an asymmetric grid, carousels: each one was built, then removed, and the page got better every time.
